Skin Inc. recently updated its advisory board to include six new spa and skin care professionals. The Skin Inc. Advisory Board serves as a sounding board to what is happening in the spa industry. These industry veterans provide Skin Inc. editors with expert input on given topics, contribute their thought leadership through articles and bring that thought leadership to life by presenting at Face & Body events nationwide. The six new additions to the 14 member advisory board include: Lisa Stewart, Shannon Esau, Sherrie Tennessee, Erin Madigan-Fleck, Lisa Jenks and Marion Simms.
Lisa Stewart
Stewart is the owner of Solia Spa and a well sought after skin care professional that has trained numerous professional skin care lines since 2003. Stewart's dream of owning her own spa never ceased when she started out her career in retail sales for the beauty industry, and it drove her to earn her dual esthetician and managing esthetician licensures.Shannon Esau
Esau was born and raised into the esthetic industry by her mother Rhonda Allison, founder and CEO of Rhonda Allison Cosmeceuticals. Now, Esau is the CEO of Allison Clinical Enterprises, and she devotes herself to helping educate and empower skin care professionals.Sherrie Tennessee
Tennessee is the director of education at SpaSOS, and she works on creating and executing training programs to improve staff performance. Tennessee earned her masters and doctorate degrees in business administration, with her masters degree having an emphasis on marketing and entrepreneurship.Erin Madigan-Fleck, N.M.D.
Madigan-Fleck has over 30 years of experience in the industry and is the founder of Naturophoria and co-founder of Intellective Esthetics. She is well-known for her knowledge and education in wellness, dermatological skin sciences, naturopathic dermal care and integrative esthetics.Lisa Jenks, M.D.
Jenks began her career in emergency medicine, but in 2007, she became the founder and owner of Genesis MedSpa. Since its opening, Jenks has helped Genesis MedSpa grow and gain two BBB's "Excellence in Customer Service" awards. Jenks trained under Mauricio de Maio, M.D., and earned her master certification in filler injection techniques.Marion Simms
Apart from being the founder of Skinsense Wellness Spa, Simms has worn many different hats while in the skin care industry including: teacher, beauty therapist, business owner, lecturer, consultant and writer. She has also earned CIDESCO, ITEC and Confederation of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology certifications in her career.
